Congratulations to Ingenio Azucarero Guabirá for becoming the first Bonsucro certified mill in Bolivia following an audit in May by Control Union. Bolivia joins Brazil, Argentina and Colombia in the list of South American countries with Bonsucro certified mills.

The mill is supplied entirely by sugarcane outgrowers, making their certification journey a remarkable example of how a mill and its suppliers can work together for positive, transformational change of the production and processing of sugarcane.
