The Bonsucro Standard is the first ever metric based Standard which measures the impact of the sustainable production of sugar cane. In 2008, Bonsucro established three Technical Working Groups (TWG's). The expert are from the sugar cane producing areas and reflect a balance of interest groups and global representation.

Thanks to all of you for making the trip to Australia, it's not exactly an easy one to make, but your presence demonstrated your dedication and the seriousness in which you take our mission. It is events like the Annual General Meeting that enables Bonsucro to succeed because we meet on an even plane and create a sense of camaraderie and determined common purpose that enable this multi-stakeholder organisation to achieve its mission.
