Personally Identifiable Information
This refers to any information that can be used to uniquely identify you – such as your name, address and phone number. It doesn’t include information that’s collected anonymously, or demographic information that doesn’t relate to an individual.
What Personally Identifiable Information is collected?
To better complete customer profiles, we collect names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses as appropriate.
The information that Bonsucro collects from you when you visit the website may also include:

What other organisations collect information?

How does the Bonsucro site use Personally Identifiable Information?

Bonsucro collects information for internal record keeping, to improve the website, to understand users’ browsing behaviour and how users engage with the website.
Bonsucro collects this information in a way that does not identify anyone. Bonsucro does not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the website.
Bonsucro will not associate any data gathered from the website with any personally identifying information from any source. If Bonsucro does want to collect personally identifiable information through the website, Bonsucro will be transparent about this. Bonsucro will make it clear when personal information is collected and will explain what it intends to do with it.
Who do you share information with?
Sometimes, we share information with other customers who wish to transact in some way with the Bonsucro site. We may share information about our visitors, including demographic data, with our partners and third-party vendors. We also offer the opportunity to opt out of receiving information or being contacted by us or by any agency acting on our behalf.

Sensitive information is securely stored, and not accessible to third parties or employees of Bonsucro – unless we’re using it as above.

When someone visits www.bonsucro.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website
First party cookies: these are our own cookies. We use them to provide information about how people use our site.
Third party cookies: these are other companies’ cookies. We use them to enhance our site, but they’re controlled by a third party – for example Facebook or YouTube.
All of these cookies exist to make the Bonsucro website better and are not for advertising purposes. You can always turn cookies off in your browser, but it could negatively affect your site experience.
How does Bonsucro use login information?
Bonsucro uses things like your IP address, ISP, and browser type to analyse how the site is used, for administration purposes, and to gather broad demographic information.
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletters and updates, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to keep you up to date with Bonsucro news; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
As part of our membership services we may contact the named representative(s) at Bonsucro member organisations which were supplied at the time of membership registration or changed thereafter through notification from the member organisation. These communications concern our membership services and the rights and obligations of the Bonsucro member. If you do not want to receive any Bonsucro membership emails please contact us.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting us.
What partners or service providers have access to Personally Identifiable Information?
Bonsucro is partnered and affiliated with a number of vendors.
Such vendors may have access to certain Personally Identifiable Information on a need to know basis for evaluating member eligibility.
We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in order to comply with a court order or subpoena, or a request from a law enforcement agency to release information. We will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Visitors and Authorized Customers.
How does Bonsucro keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?
Personally Identifiable Information is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees. This access is password protected. We audit our security on a regular basis. Sensitive information is encrypted. While we take reasonable measures to keep our site secure, electronic communications and databases can be subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we can’t guarantee that such events will not take place. We will not be liable for such occurrences.
Access to your personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to Bonsucro at firstname.lastname@example.org.
That said, because of backups and records, there’s often some residual information remaining – even after deletion. If you request to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated, we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to you in any way moving forward.
