We’re thrilled to announce our final nominees. Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations – the diversity and strength of the nominations are testament to the commitment of many individuals and organisations to sustainable sugarcane around the world.

The Inspire Award for Excellence in Sustainability Communications:

Creating effective and inspirational communications around sustainable sugarcane is important in ensuring impactful work is highlighted and celebrated. Impactful communications also increases awareness of the opportunities and challenges facing sugarcane production around the world.

Nominees had to demonstrate an effective communications piece or campaign that has contributed to advancing an understanding of sustainable sugarcane practices, projects or issues. Our judges looked for examples that have shown engagement with a variety of audiences.

The Nominations:

The TRR Group is one of Thailand’s longest established sugar milling companies and remains a leading sugar manufacturer and exporter in Thailand.

Saraburi Sugar created a communications campaign to draw attention to its commitment to the sustainable production of sugarcane. This campaign also aims to encourage farmers in their pursuit of sustainability and equal labour rights and welfare. Additionally, Saraburi is hoping to encourage more sustainable buying among its customers.
