Developing a new strategic plan for Bonsucro 2021

24th July 2020

Bonsucro has launched a process to develop a new five-year strategic plan. We are keen to hear a wide range of opinions and ideas to make sure we create the best possible outcome. Following a competitive tender process, we appointed Change Agency, to work with us and to develop a clear and actionable strategic plan for the period 2021 to 2026.

Bonsucro’s CEO, Danielle Morley led the interviews with the support of Board Member, Melanie Rutten- Sülz. The selection process was very competitive, and Change Agency was chosen above other consultancies because of its inclusive methodology.

Change Agency will start research immediately to deliver a scoping report in September 2020. The work for the scoping report will include a survey and interviews with a range of stakeholders, the team and the Board.

An internal steering committee has been created to aid the development of the strategy and work with Change Agency. The committee is comprised of Danielle Morley, Miguel Hernandez and Laura Fisher from the Secretariat, Melanie Rutten-Sülz from the Board of Directors and Meredith Smith, Chair of the Members Council.

The scoping report will provide a critical foundation for the rest of the strategy development. It will be shared with the Members Council and the Board who will work together and give direction for the next stage of the strategy development.

Following on from the scoping report, Change Agency will run workshops in the UK and in key virtual regional and thematic workshops for a comprehensive perspective.
